Transport
To get in Greece, the most common way is by plane, some prefer to take the road or train, before continuing their journey by boat to the islands.
Charter flights and scheduled flights depart for Athens ,Thessaloniki and some islands from Paris, London, Amsterdam and Frankfurt. Scheduled flights : There are direct flights to all major European airlines (Price: from 250 euros in the classroom economic).Charters : there are charter flights from several cities in France toAthens , Araxos, the Crete , Corfu, Santorini, Thessaloniki , Preveza,Rhodes (Price: around 200 euros).
By boat , you will arrive in Corfu, Igoumenistsa, Cephalonia - Patras starting from Italy (Venice - Ancona, Brindisi, Bari, Trieste).
If you are traveling with your car, you have to map gray, insurance certificate and driver's license in good standing. In winter, stand 2 hours before boarding and 4h before summer. Allow about 16h to 18h journey as stops.
Macedonia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Turkey conduct in Greece by its rail network . Option not through Macedonia through InterRail or Eurail card since these formulas often include the passage from Italy by ferry.
